If you live in England, Wales or Scotland, check the latest guidelines on who should be offered a sensor-based glucose monitor on the NHS.

If you get FreeStyle Libre 2 or FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus sensors on the NHS, you should also get the other things you need like repeat prescriptions for sensors and blood test strips.

Existing patients

Wide availability of the FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus sensor is not expected until June 2024 once GP systems have been updated.
