We met Mike from Warrington and spoke to him about his story. From not being able to hold his baby before being diagnosed with diabetes, to now mountain biking with friends using the FreeStyle Libre 2 system, here’s what he shared.
How did you find out you had type 1 diabetes and how were you diagnosed?
How did you manage your diabetes in the early days?
How and when did you hear about the FreeStyle Libre system?
What has worked well and have you had any challenges?
How has using FreeStyle Libre changed how you manage your diabetes?
Does your diabetes impact those around you? If so, how?
Any final thoughts?
