2. Touch low glucose alarm and turn on alarm (alarms are off by default)

3. Scroll to select Low Glucose Value¹⁴

4. Touch Alarm tone and make your tone choice

1. Connect and share glucose information with the caregiver via the FreeStyle LibreLink12 app

2. In the LibreLinkUp app, touch the Notification Settings icon

For children aged 4-12, a caregiver at least 18 years old is responsible for supervising, managing, and assisting them in using the FreeStyle Libre system and interpreting its readings.

CGM=continuous glucose monitoring.

1. Fingerpricks are required if your glucose alarms and readings do not match symptoms or expectations.

2. Scanning the sensor does not require lancets.

6. Sensor is water-resistant in up to 1 metre (3 feet) of water. Do not immerse longer than 30 minutes.

7. Use of FreeStyle LibreLink requires registration with LibreView, a cloud-based service developed by Newyu, Inc and provided by Abbott and Newyu, Inc. Data captured by FreeStyle LibreLink will be automatically uploaded to LibreView when the phone on which it’s running is connected to the Internet.

8. LibreView is compatible with the latest versions of the Safari, Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox web browsers running on Mac OS X Mountain Lion or later and Windows 7 or later.

9. LibreLinkUp is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones. Your phone must meet the following requirements: Android OS 6.0 (or higher) or iOS 11 (or higher) and an internet connection.

10. LibreLinkUp is a mobile application, developed and provided by Newyu, Inc. Use of LibreLinkUp requires registration with LibreView, a service provided by Abbott and Newyu, Inc. The LibreLinkUp mobile app is not intended to be a primary glucose monitor: home users must consult their primary device(s) and consult a healthcare professional before making any medical interpretation and therapy adjustments from the information provided by the app, and healthcare professionals should use information provided by the app in conjunction with other clinical information available to them.

11. Patients choose which device (FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or FreeStyle LibreLink app) they want to receive alarms. They must start their FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor with that selected device. Once the patient scans their FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor with that device, they can receive alarms only on that device.

12. The FreeStyle LibreLink mobile app is compatible with NFC enabled smartphones running Android 5.0 or later with iPhone 7 and later running iOS 11 or later.

14. 70 mg/dL is the default Low Glucose Alarm level and can be set between 60 mg/dL – 100 mg/dL.

15. 240 mg/L is the default High Glucose Alarm level and can be set between 120 mg/dL – 400 mg/dL.
