FreeStyle Libre Replacement Policy

FreeStyle Libre Reader:

  • The FreeStyle Libre Reader has a standard warranty of two years, from the date of purchase

  • To avail one- year additional extended warranty, registration is mandatory.

Freestyle Libre Reader

FreeStyle Libre Sensor:

FreeStyle Libre Sensor will be replaced in the following cases:

  • Incase the Sensor falls-off within the first 14 days of application

  • Sensor not collecting any data

  • Sensor collecting data for less than 14 days

  • Continuous low glucose readings by sensor for more than 72 hours

  • FreeStyleLibre sensors shall be used with FreeStyle LibreLink App* or Reader only for activation as well as for data retrieval. Abbott shall not be liable for any loss, damage or incorrect reading displayed by FreeStyle Libre sensors if used with an application or source, not authorized by Abbott, either for activation, usage or for data retrieval

FreeStyle Libre Pro Replacement Policy

FreeStyle Libre Pro Reader and Sensor:

  • For queries on replacement of FreeStyle Libre Pro reader or sensor, please contact your doctor

  • FreeStyle Libre Pro sensors shall be used with FreeStyle Libre Pro reader only for activation as well as for data retrieval

  • Abbott shall not be liable for any loss, damage or incorrect reading displayed by FreeStyle Libre Pro sensors if used with an application or source, not authorized by Abbott, either for activation, usage or for data retrieval

  • FreeStyle Libre Pro sensors shall be used with FreeStyle Libre Pro reader only for activation as well as for data retrieval. FreeStyle Optium Neo Replacement Policy

FreeStyle Optium Neo:

  • One-year additional warranty provided the product is registered as per the information provided in the product pack

  • The warranty period will start from the date of purchase

  • For further conditions, refer to the product warranty conditions mentioned in the product insert

Abbott Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. internally reviews each replacement request and reserves the right to grant/reject replacement request

In the event of a replacement, the customer is advised to retain the product against which replacement is being sought. As per process, the replacement will be provided once the product is collected by Abbott Healthcare Pvt. Ltd
